In Mr. B's class, one of the projects we have to do is make a movie. So everyone in the class had to write there own script. After that was done we had to make a group and chose a script. After writing my script, we made a group. in the group it was: me, Hayden,Guy, and Cameron. The script we chose was Guy's. Everyone in our group liked his script and it was one of M. B's favorites. So the following friday we filmed at Hayden's house. I thought it was really fun. We filmed the first third of our movie. So far it was going really well. Then our next film session was the next thursday. We were doing an action scene. It was cool cause I got to kill Hayden. We started out climbing up a roof. But the first time I did it I got a really bad cut on my hand and we had to stop. There was blood everywhere. So the next couple days we worked on the scene and finally finished that scene. It looked really cool after we were done editing it. Now we are working on our final scene. If we finish early we are planing to make bloopers and a trailer.
Did you stand up straight but stay relaxed?
I thought that I was relaxed. I also thought I stood up straight.
Did you pause for a moment before you began your speech?
No, I didn't. I just started. I was feeling comfortable.
Did you look at your audience?
I looked at my audience. I was alomost always looking at my during the presintation.
Did you let your facial expressions naturally reflect what you were saying?
No, not really. I only really had one expresion.
Did you use your hands?
A little bit. I used them once to point out a picture in a slide.
Did you speak loudly enough so that everyone could hear you?
I spoke loud enough. That is one of my strong areas.
Did you change your tone to show how you felt (upset, excited) about an idea or to emphasize a point?
Not particulary. I'm pretty monotone, that's one of my weaker areas.
Was your speed of delivery too fast, too slow or just right?
I thought it was just rigth. When I listened to it it sounded good.
Did you practice your speech at home before giving it?
I did not. I should have though.
What did you notice that you did well in your speech?
Speaking loudly and clearly. Also some hand motions to point out pictures.
Describe one aspect of public speaking you will work to improve?
I should prepare my speech ahead of time. And practice it at home also.

Yo, I'm amazing
you must must be crazy
to ask for another rematch
make me cook up a whole other batch
you'll never get any snatch
til you grow old and get a bald patch
your rhymes are pretty good
but you lack one thing that's culture
I'm so fly I'm crusin like a vulture
when you rap, it sounds like your talkin
when my rhymes are mockin
you see my homies, we always be rockin
in that souped up millennium falcon
i bet you just stuff that pizza in your face
when you watch that gay show, saving grace
I'm crusin in my Bentley
when you in a prius that says rent me
what are you pregnant
oh my god, your water just broke,
nah he just peed your pants, what a joke
yo this battles over remember they call me the closer
this was a rap battle i had against Isaac. these are the lyrics

to ask for another rematch

Family Name: Holt
Occupations/Schools: Langley Middle School
My hobbies and interests are sports, music, video games and eating.
My image of pioneer life is a log cabin, an old out house, and maybe farm animals.
The most challenging thing my family and I have done is just camping intents, we don't do hardcore outdoor activities as a family.
The things I would miss most would be my friends, music, 21st century food, video games, and my computer.
The good qualities my family has is that we are all hard workers, except for my sister.
The strengths I have are I have stamina, I'm a little bit above average on strengths, and I don't give up easily.
What I hope to get out of this experience is I hope I understand what it was like to live in the 1800's and maybe I won't regret all the simple things in life.
From this experience I hope to learn how to make things out of wood. like small huts and tables and chairs.
This project interests me because when it's over I can say that I've done that.
My only concern is my health, because I'm already skinny, so if I was deprived any food, it might be bad.
I don't know anything about my family roots.
I herd about Frontier House because Mr. B showed the show in his class.

Just in the last couple of years I have really gotten an intrest in music. The stuff I'm listening to wrte now is: t.i., Lil wyane, Young Jezey, Kanye West, Chris Brown, and Jay-Z. If you noticed that's all hip hop nd rap. I don't know why I like like rap, but I just do. When I'm in different moods I listen to certain songs. I think I like rap because it is different. One of my favorite rappers is T.I. He's been through a lot of tough time, and he's done some bad things. But he's trying to turn that all around. I also really like Kanye West, but he can kind of be cocky sometimes. What I think is really cool is when a rapper makes up his own lyrics, instead of having some guy make the lyrics up for him. What I ment by when I'm in different moods I listen to different songs, I mean like when I'm happy I listen to meanigless music with a good beat, but whhen I'm sad I want to listen to something more meaningful. I don't have a favorie song right now, but whan I do, I listen to my favorite song way to much and then get tiered of the song. I'm looking forward to spirit dance, I hope they have good songs and a good dj.
