This summer I started playing golf. At first I was horrible, I couldn't even hit the ball. I had my first lesson back in July this summer. My instructor was trying to help me hit the ball but I just couldn't do it. That same day I started driving the ball 200 yards!!! I was having trouble hitting it strait though. So at my local driving range I've been practicing my hit every weekend. Now I'm pretty consistent. so I decided to play my first game. It was a great game, it took only 4 or 5 hits on a 9 hole par 3 course, I was feeling great about my golf game. So the next weekend I played another golf game. I was feeling very confident that I was going to do great. Already on my first hole I hit the ball 9 times. On one hole I almost hit someone teeing off 200 yards away!!! After a horrible day of golf I felt very discouraged. My most recent golf was definitely my best. I had one par and I got my best score every. I seem to be improving every time I go now. One thing i=I need to work on the most is my putting. Putting is one of the hardest parts of golf. You have to able to tll wich way a ball will break on certain slopes. The long game of golf is impresive, but the short game wins games.

Hi this is michael. I think you story is pretty good. I have actually never gone golfing. I didn't understand most of what your blog said because i have golf retardism. You must be really good because i can't even hit ball from here to the bathroom. (my location is computer id tag 9057 just north of the elavator) But overall nice blog. Andrew, sounds like a lot of fun. This entry is written very well. I some times go to island greens with my dad. I'm not very good but i get better every time i go. Some times my uncle comes to visit and he takes me golfing hes really good.

I'm not very good at golf. I've gone a couple of times. I hit the ball about 150 yards, but it was way off course. Iv'e never got a par because of how I put. But i'll keep trying

I started golf this summer too. My grandpartents made me and at frist I heted it but now I love it. Even though I'm not consistant my dad takes me golfing at Island Greens along with my brother. On the range I've only hit 250 and my cousin broke my driver!
That's cool. I like to play golf as well. I've been playing since I was about 8, but I still have trouble sometimes. You're right, the putting game it the hardest, and the most crucial to success. I go to Island Greens the most often, but I really enjoy going to Holmes Harbor.
Hey, it's Guy. I have gone golfing a couple times. My least favorite part is driving. I am not to good at that. I am pretty good at putting. Golf is a very boring sport to watch, but it is a very fun sport to play. Bye.
